In episode 92 of Whisky in SV, I did a blind tasting of 4 whiskies from one of my favorite Scotch whisky brands called Edradour. The purpose of the blind was to see if the Edradour 25 Year Batch 1 which I purchased recently due to FOMO is worth opening. I got a sample of the 25 Years courtesy of my generous friend Donny and was very excited to try it. For comparison, I had a 12 Year cask strength 2009 vintage, a 10 Year Straight from the Cask #280, and a 10 Year Signatory Cask #185 independent bottling. The Signatory was a completely different profile with some peat and savory barbecued meat flavors.
