We leave Pancake Creek and Bustard Head lighthouse to continue our trek north to our planned stop at beautiful Great Keppel Island. Enroute, we have to navigate our way through hundreds of huge bulk carrier ships anchored off the Port of Gladstone waiting to be loaded. Fortunately for us these anchored ships tend to attract fish life and we land two good spotted mackerel to reinvigorate our fresh fish supply. Great Keppel Island is as beautiful as ever but for once we keep our stay short as the weather was telling us to keep the bow facing north.
