Inverness to Thurso and Back on an Ember Electric Bus

It's a three and a half hour trip by bus from Inverness to Thurso via Wick with most of it along the A9. The journey is pretty spectacular although I was squinting onto the sun in the way to Thurso in the morning. Ember only make a stop if someone is booked to get on or off so on the outward journey to Thurso we only stopped a few times. On the way back we stopped more. No doubt there will be more stops when it gets busier in the of summer so I've no idea what that does to the schedule. All in all a good day out although I do need to give Thurso itself some more time for an explore whenever I get there next. Filmed January 2026 #scotlandtravel #bus #emberbus #ember #yutong
