If you’re curious about starting grappling, BJJ, Muay Thai, or MMA, but feel nervous about stepping into a gym, this class is for you. I teach at Aarhus Fight Academy, and this video shows a full, relaxed, real training session you can follow along with: warm-up drills, Q&A-style technical exploration, positional sparring, and some free rolling. As a soon-to-be certified psychologist (graduating in ~6 months), I know how common training anxiety is. I used to be so nervous that I once drove 45 minutes to the gym, parked outside… and then drove home again without going in. McDonald's on the way home, though. New students get to ask all the questions they have after trying to spar from a specific position. We troubleshoot, experiment, and build understanding together.
