This video presentation analyses the case study “The Rebranding Rift” for LSP103 Interpersonal Skills. The discussion critically examines the conflict between Maya and Jordan, focusing on communication breakdown, lack of disclosure, breached expectations, and ineffective conflict management. Using Social Exchange Theory and Relational Dialectics Theory, this presentation explains how relational costs, autonomy–closeness tension, and poor conflict strategies led to the deterioration of trust.
