In this video, I am sharing my favorite recipe for Polish kaluski with cabbage and kielbasa that my husband's family shared with me. Pour 2 cups of flour into a mixing bowl 1:07 2. Pour 1 cup of water and 3. Add the egg and mix it all together 3:46 4. After kneading out the dough, cut it up into kaluski 4:55 5. Boil kaluski for 10 min on medium to high heat 6:36 6. Peel and cut up onion to go first in the pot 7:28 7. Shred your cabbage and add it to the mix 8:28 8. Cut up your kielbasa and add to the mix 9:31 9. Add kaluski to the mix 10:04 Bonus features Kaluski aka Halushki Enough for 5-6 meals Ingredients: 2 cups of flour 3/4 cup of water 1 egg 1 stick of butter 1 onion 1/2 medium-sized cabbage 1 Polska kielbasa (optional) Salt and pepper (parsley and garlic powder optional) Directions: 1. In a mixing bowl, pour flour in and make a dip in the center. 2. Pour in water and break an egg into it. 3. Mix your dough occasionally adding a pinch of flour here and there until dough is firmer, but not tough. 4. Roll out the dough on a board sprinkled with flour. 5. When all rolled out and flat, cut up the dough into smaller pieces (the size of pieces depends on your preference and taste). 6. Boil water in a pot and throw in kaluski cooking for 10 min. Once cooked, use a strainer to drain the water and let kaluski cool. Set aside. 7. In a pot, melt butter, chip the onion and throw in cooking on medium heat. 8. Shred your cabbage and throw into the mix. 9. If using, cut up kielbasa and add to the mix. 10. Cook onions, cabbage, and kielbasa on medium heat for about 15 min. 11.
