Bhujbal, who is opposing reservation for Marathas under the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category, alleged that the word 'eligible' has been removed from the new government resolution (GR) on reservation. एनसीपी मंत्री और ओबीसी नेता छगन भुजबल ने शुक्रवार को कहा कि महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने मराठा आरक्षण की अगुवाई कर रहे मनोज जरांगे की हैदराबाद गजेटियर को लागू करने की मांग को स्वीकार करके भानुमती का पिटारा खोल दिया है ताकि मराठों को आरक्षण का लाभ मिल सके और उन्हें कुनबी जाति का प्रमाण पत्र दिया जा सके. अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग (ओबीसी) श्रेणी के तहत मराठों को आरक्षण दिए जाने का विरोध कर रहे भुजबल ने आरोप लगाया कि आरक्षण पर नए सरकारी प्रस्ताव (जीआर) से ‘पात्र’ शब्द हटा दिया गया है.
