The ACME PHOEBE SPOON - Spin Fishing a DAM for WILD BROWN TROUT. Took a walk to the dam today to do some dam trout fishing. Last second decision to grab a few of these Acme Phoebe Spoons from the big box and into the little box. Another last second to decide to start with the Acme Phoebe Lure and they were great last second decisions! Actually just wanted to have fun with the Phoebe Spoon today by the dam fishing for some wild brown trout. The trout were all over the Phoebe lure right out of the gate. I dropped 2 bigger brown trout today and missed several strikes and follows as well all around the dam. I lost both the Phoebe Spoons I took with me and threw some spinners. Think I had one strike in the hour or so I was fishing them. I blame it on the time of day or perhaps myself for not bringing more Phoebes! Next time may try rolling some weighting line and some chicken feathers deep and under!
