This was our arrival and first day in Bamyan, we spent 3 days here where we had lots of interacting with Locals, went to a rural village, historical places and some stunningly beautiful places. all to come! i really had no idea how much Afghanistan has to offer tourists! just amazed at the natural beauty .These Buddahs were destroyed in 2001, but the history here is amazing! Dating back to the 6th Century. Monks appaerently lived as Hermits in the small caves.
