We take a POV ride on 4x different escalators within the Railway Station hub building at Manchester Airport (England). We ride the first set a few times because they are so nice - and I do my best to show you the machinery working (through the clear truss sides). Enjoy! If you do, please LIKE and SUBSCRIBE. Plenty more like this is on the way... Comment any useful info or possible suggestions for future videos. Thanks! 😎 **The first set of Kone escalators were built at the Keighley, England 🏴 factory in December 2002/January 2003. They are the type RTV-GL and run really well. They are double trussed units (you can see where they were joined together through the glass panels). *The Otis escalators underneath were added later to provide an escalator link up and down from the metrolink tram platform. The last escalators appear to be Kone TransitMaster 120s (They were EcoModded O&K RT-HDLS escalators from about 1990). You can also see down (towards the end of the video) to the main train station platforms and that there’s a couple of escalators down there. They’ll come separately - again they were O&K RT-HD from about 1990, then EcoModded about a year ago.
