Welcome back to our favourite town in Patagonia! That's right, today we’re hoping back into our Patagonia footage, and we're going to be sharing what we got up to during our week in the town of El Bolsón, Argentina. I warn you, this is the randomest vlog ever because technically, this was supposed to be our week of no filming, but the thing is our camera is never too far from reach! So, this video is going to be a collection of moments in no particular order. So, join us as we spend quality time with friends, visit all the cats and dogs we know, go hiking and break down on the side of the road in a national park, go to family dinners that turn into dance parties, and barbecue under the stars while we learn the art of drinking out of a leather wine skin. This video is about as chill and unplanned as it gets, and I think it also shows why we love this slice of northern Patagonia so much. #patagonia #elbolson #argentina 🐾✨ Unplanned Adventures in El Bolsón: Dogs, Cats, Flat Tires & Patagonian Life 🇦🇷 🎬 Introduction: A Week Off (Or So We Thought!) Welcome back to the channel! In this episode, we dive into our “week off” in El Bolsón, Río Negro, Patagonia, Argentina… except, as usual, we couldn’t resist picking up the camera. Join us for a laid-back, slice-of-life travel vlog filled with favorite pets, friends, unexpected road mishaps, and lots of local flavor. This is as spontaneous and authentic as it gets! 🐶 Reunions: Old Friends, Furry Faces First order of business: reconnecting with Doggo! This lovable neighborhood dog won our hearts on a previous trip, and we were delighted to find him still hanging around—and now with a girlfriend. Cue lots of belly rubs and treats. We also bumped into several other local dogs and even Alfonsine, a very social cat belonging to our friend Valentin. 🚗 Road Trip to Los Alerces National Park We joined our friend Valentin and a carload of hiking enthusiasts for an excursion to Parque Nacional Los Alerces. The drive alone was a stunner, with jaw-dropping scenery at every turn. Once at the park, our group of seven tackled an easy riverside trail, enjoyed a picnic, and kept our eyes peeled for local wildlife—especially the elusive huemul deer. 🛞 Flat Tire Misadventure What’s a Patagonian adventure without a little drama? Our peaceful hike was interrupted by a flat tire (thankfully, not our car!). The group rallied, changed the tire, and made the best of the situation—because that’s travel life! 🏞️ Exploring New Corners of Los Alerces This visit gave us a chance to see the northern part of Los Alerces National Park—an area we’d missed on earlier trips. Cloudy weather rolled in, but we soaked up the views, enjoyed a port-side rest, and then made our way back to revisit favorite trails from our last visit. The day ended with big laughs, great food, and even getting a little lost in the woods (always makes for good stories). 🥩 Steaks, Wine & Local Life True to Argentine tradition, the evening wrapped up with a classic steak and wine dinner, shared with Valentin and friends. The social fun continued back in town with another memorable meal, plenty of mate, and even a spontaneous dance party! 🐱 More Cat Encounters & Patagonian Tea Houses No pet left behind: we met up with Valentin’s cat, a true local character known for wandering the neighborhood and charming visitors. Between walks, we stopped by charming tea houses, admired waterfalls, and enjoyed slow moments with both new and old friends. 🍷 Learning the Art of Drinking from a Wineskin One hilarious highlight: learning to drink wine “like a local” from a traditional leather wineskin (bota). After a few comical failed attempts and friendly coaching, Sam finally mastered the art—Patagonia-style. 🌧️ Embracing All Weather Even the rainy days couldn’t stop us! We laced up our hiking boots for misty hikes and found beauty in the moody Patagonian landscapes, making the most of every moment in El Bolsón and its magical surrounds. 💬 Final Thoughts & Thanks for Watching! This episode is a true collection of candid, off-the-cuff moments—a real taste of Patagonian life among friends, furry companions, and spectacular nature. We hope you enjoyed these snippets from our favorite Patagonian town and can feel the relaxed, joyous spirit of El Bolsón coming through your screen. 👍 Like | 💬 Comment | 🔔 Subscribe for more Patagonia, Argentina & slow travel adventures! #Patagonia #ElBolson #ArgentinaTravel #TravelVlog #DogsOfPatagonia #TravelWithFriends #LosAlerces #TravelArgentina Which part of this Patagonian week would you love to experience?
