We stayed at APA Asakusa Kuramae hotel, a standard Business Hotel franchise in Tokyo you can find around Japan that offers clean simple rooms with adequate amenities. Located LESS than a minute walk away from the Sumida river, this is a great spot for getting some fresh air and taking in the unique views of Asakusa. This hotel has an Onsen/Spa located on the 12th floor, amenities such as a vending machine, trouser press, ice machine and access to a washer and dryer.
