The video shows a more strategic approach to using the sentry gun in Call of Duty ghosts. I use three different strategies for the sentry gun to best benefit myself and my team. Strategy #1 -- Funneling -- Secure a location and rack up enough kills to unlock your sentry gun killstreak. Once you have it unlocked, use it to block off one of the main paths leading to your location. This will cause the enemy team to "Funnel" into the alternate path. Strategy #2 -- Effective Killing -- Most people believe the best location to place a sentry gun is just in a high traffic area and then to wait while it racks up kills. Instead of this, Place your sentry gun in a location where the view of the sentry gun is covering as much percentage of the map as possible. This will not only cover high traffic areas but will also cover choke points and spawns. Strategy #3 -- Defending -- When you find yourself in a location with multiple paths leading to it, use the sentry gun to defend the hardest path to guard. Without the worry of enemies coming behind you, you can focus on major choke points and high traffic areas to rack up kills.
