Tattoo Assassins (1995) Arcade Playthrough - A.C. Current

Now that the game runs accurately in emulation I thought I'd upload an arcade playthrough to people can see what it would've been like coming across a Tattoo Assassins machine at their local arcade in 1995 and popping some quarters in. Tattoo Assassins was an unreleased (cancelled) fighting game developed by Data East Pinball in the wake of Mortal Kombat's meteoric rise in arcades. The game featured lots of raunchy elements such as moves involving vomiting, farting, and blasting your opponent with diarrhea. It even included Nudalities and Animalities, which were persistent rumors throughout Mortal Kombat II's tenure in arcades at the time. I've added bezels and a subtle CRT filter to this upload to give it a more authentic feel. Somewhere in the range of 4-6 original Tattoo Assassins arcade cabinets exist in the wild today, several of which belong to private owners. It was announced at EVO Japan 2025 that the game will be receiving an enhanced/complete port from exA-Arcadia that aims to fix bugs and polish up the gameplay.
