Every year, hundreds of grey whales gather in the lagoons of Baja California, Mexico, during their migration (late January - late March). From late January through March, it is possible to get very close to the gentle giants, by joining an organized whale watching trip in Magdalena Bay, Laguna Ojo de Liebres, or San Ignacio Lagoon. These videos were taken during a 6-hour whale watching excursion with "Friendly Whale Watching Tours" (https://friendlywhaletours.com.mx/) in Magdalena Bay (they operate out of the tiny town of Puerto San Carlos).
