सैनिकों व पूर्व सैनिकों को बहुत बड़ा मौका... Col सुधीर चौधरी (R)| #sainikwelfarenews Jai Hind friends, Welcome to your own Sainik Welfare YouTube Channel, a platform dedicated to veterans, serving personnel, and their families. This special episode is centred around Veterans’ Day (14 January) and focuses on one of the most important issues facing ex-servicemen today: employment opportunities, regional development, and their continued role in nation building after retirement from active service. Joining us for this in-depth discussion is Veteran Colonel Sudhir Kumar, General Secretary of the Western Uttar Pradesh Nirman Morcha, who brings decades of military experience and grassroots insight into veteran welfare. The discussion begins with the significance of Veterans’ Day and the encouraging statements made by the Hon’ble Defence Minister, acknowledging the contribution of veterans to the nation. Colonel Sudhir Kumar explains that ex-servicemen are not just retired soldiers, but highly disciplined, trained, and experienced human resources capable of contributing meaningfully to India’s economic growth, internal security, and infrastructure development. A major focus of this video is Western Uttar Pradesh, a region with a very high concentration of ex-servicemen and serving personnel. The region includes 27 districts, with nearly 12 lakh ex-servicemen and their families impacted by administrative delays, lack of regional focus, and limited employment opportunities. The long-standing demand for state reorganisation of Western Uttar Pradesh is discussed in detail, highlighting how a new state could accelerate development and unlock large-scale job creation. Colonel Sudhir Kumar clearly explains three major employment pathways for ex-servicemen if Western Uttar Pradesh becomes a separate state. First, government jobs in police, paramilitary forces, and internal security, with a strong demand to increase the existing 5% reservation for ex-servicemen to 10–15% during the initial years of the new state. Second, technical employment for veterans from EME, Signals, ASC, Ordnance, and allied services, especially as new industries and defence manufacturing units are established. Third, entrepreneurship, startups, logistics, and private sector roles, supported through DGR schemes and state-level incentives. The video gives special attention to Jewar International Airport, which is expected to generate nearly one lakh direct and indirect jobs. Opportunities in aviation maintenance, airport operations, logistics, security, administration, and allied services make this project extremely suitable for ex-servicemen, given their operational discipline and leadership skills. The long-pending demand for a High Court Bench in Western Uttar Pradesh is also addressed. With more than 15 lakh pending cases and travel distances of nearly 900 km to Allahabad, access to justice remains a major challenge. A local High Court would not only ensure faster justice but also create employment in legal services, administration, infrastructure, and allied sectors. 00:00 Introduction and Welcome 00:45 Veterans’ Day significance and Defence Minister’s message 01:40 Role of ex-servicemen in nation building 02:30 Western Uttar Pradesh and veteran population overview 03:40 Why Western UP statehood matters for veterans 04:30 Government and security job opportunities for ex-servicemen 05:20 Technical and industrial jobs for veterans 06:05 Entrepreneurship and private sector opportunities 06:50 Jewar International Airport and employment potential 07:40 Defence Corridor and defence manufacturing jobs 08:20 High Court demand, justice access, and employment impact 08:55 Conclusion and Veterans’ Day message Sainik Welfare News, Veterans Day, Veterans Day India, Ex Servicemen, Ex Servicemen Welfare, Indian Army Veterans, Indian Navy Veterans, Indian Air Force Veterans, ESM Jobs, Jobs for Ex Servicemen, Veteran Jobs India, Western Uttar Pradesh, West UP News, Western UP Nirman Morcha, West UP Statehood, UP Vibhajan, Jewar Airport Jobs, Noida Airport Jobs, Logistics Jobs India, Defence Corridor UP, Defence Manufacturing, Defence Industrial Corridor, DGR Scheme, Directorate General Resettlement, Zila Sainik Board, ECHS, Army Pensioners, Defence Pension, Police Jobs for Ex Servicemen, Paramilitary Jobs, Home Guard Jobs, Veteran Reservation, High Court Bench West UP, Meerut High Court Bench, Justice Delay India, Nation Building, Military to Civilian Transition, Veteran Interview, Colonel Sudhir Kumar #SainikWelfareNews #VeteransDay #ExServicemen #IndianArmy #IndianNavy #IndianAirForce #VeteranWelfare #ESMJobs #WesternUP #WestUP #JewarAirport #DefenceCorridor #DefenceManufacturing #DGR #ZilaSainikBoard #ECHS #VeteranReservation #UPNews #NationBuilding #JaiHind
