Glenn was at work, so I headed off to Dartmouth for a vision board workshop — and it turned out to be such good fun and really uplifting. Later, I went to meet Glenn from work… only to discover we had a flat tyre. Not ideal at all, but we managed to limp the car home safely. Boat Jobs, Jazz & Sunday Groceries | Daily Vlog | Sun 8th February (2026) SundayGlenn spent the day down at the boat, carrying on with the work to get it ready for the summer season. I popped into Totnes Cinema where they have live jazz music on Sundays — just for a quick drink and a listen — before heading to Morrisons to do the weekly grocery shop. Chai Experiments, Rainy Boat Work & Cauliflower CheeseSoup | Daily Vlog | Mon 9th February (2026) I had a friend round today and decided to make Dishoom chai — little did I know that Bea is a proper chai connoisseur! Thankfully, it passed the test and was a big success. Meanwhile, Glenn was down at the boat working in absolutely pouring rain — not the nicest conditions at all. To make his day a bit better, I cooked his favourite cauliflower cheese soup for dinner… and it scored a huge 9.5 out of 10. High praise indeed! Rainy Boat Repairs, Lunch Walks & Yoga Calm | Daily Vlog | Tues 10th February (2026) Glenn headed down to the boat with one clear mission — to get the leg back on. He tried his best to beat the rain, but no such luck and got caught in it again. Soaking wet… but the propeller is back on! A definite win despite the weather. I worked all day, squeezing in a walk at lunchtime to clear my head, then finished the evening with yoga. A busy but really balanced day. IKEA Finds & A Chinese New Year Gesture | Daily Vlog | Wed 11th February (2026) We picked up some friends and headed over to IKEA in Exeter — it didn’t take long to get there, and it had been a while since my last visit. We had a really good look around and, of course, came home with lots of things we didn’t even know we needed. I was very happy with my purchases. Once home, I took a small gift over to our neighbour to celebrate Chinese New Year. I did briefly second-guess myself, wondering if it was appropriate, but I needn’t have worried — they were really pleased. Road Trip Detours & Valentine’s Prep | Daily Vlog | Thurs 12th February (2026) After work, we set off on the journey back to Northampton to help the family get ready for Valentine’s Day. Two of our grown-up kids are now running the flower shop, and this is their busiest time of year — so it’s very much all hands on deck. The journey didn’t go quite to plan, though. We hit two road closures that sent us on long detours and, for a while, I honestly wondered if we’d ever get there. But we did — eventually — tired but ready for the busy days ahead. Valentine’s Rush & Van Troubles | Daily Vlog | Fri 13th February (2026) All hands on deck! The whole family pulled together in the flower shop ready for the Valentine’s rush. Me and Glenn were out on deliveries, travelling from beautiful Northamptonshire villages to busy town centre spots — flowers everywhere and lots of happy faces. The van decided to add a bit of drama to the day with a fault that meant no heating. Not ideal in February! But Glenn couldn’t help himself — between deliveries he was trying to figure out what was wrong and see if he could fix it. Welcome to A Life Full of Meaning I’m so glad you’re here.
