Join us for the full celebration honoring the retirement and birthday of Rt. Rev. Henry Katumba Tamale, the beloved 6th Bishop of West Buganda Diocese! This special event took place at his new permanent residence on Shallom Villa Hill in Masaka City, Uganda, a testament to his promise to remain within the diocese after his dedicated service. The joyous occasion was graced by the presence of His Grace The Most Reverend Stephen Kazimba Mugalu, the Archbishop of the Province of the Church of Uganda, and his wife, along with the retired Archbishop Stanley Ntagali and his wife. Many other esteemed Bishops, both serving and retired from across the Church of Uganda, were also in attendance, showing their respect and appreciation for Bishop Katumba's years of leadership. Highlights of the party include: Heartfelt speeches and tributes to Bishop Henry Katumba Tamale. Entertainment by the talented Mawanda Secondary School Choir. A beautiful moment as Bishop Katumba Tamale and his wife, Maama Elizabeth Julia Katumba Tamale, sang their love for each other to Juliana Kanyomoozi's "Nkwagala nnyo nze..." The official opening and blessing of Bishop Katumba Tamale and Maama Julia Katumba Tamale's new house at Shalom Villa Hill, led by Archbishop Kazimba Mugalu.
