Daniel Akin SEBTS Explains How White Christians Can be More Woke

To help Southern Baptists understand how woke Southern Baptist Convention leadership has become and is becoming. In this video Daniel Akin, president of the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary tells White Christians to be better listeners to minority brothers and sisters. We need to listen to their perspective. This sounds like standpoint epistemology to me. Am I wrong? We need to surrender power and invite ethnic minority into the room and to the table. We need also to be ready to surrender leadership at the table. Listen as he talks of racial reconciliation and kingdom diversity. Not surprisingly, Mr. Akin gives no scriptural justification for any of this. Perhaps Mr. Akin would be willing to put his money where his mouth is and surrender his power as president of SEBTS.
