【Pls look at the top comment first】Blue Tears is an everlasting name in every hard/melodic rock fan's head. It is no exaggeration to say that Blue Tears can become one of the enlightenment bands for whoever was introduced to melodic rock for the first time. Their songs never fade away, widely spread among global melodic rock fans as the worldwide top-class gems all the time. During the past years when Blue Tears was active, the band kept a stable line-up. Though the 1980s saw several line-up changes of the band especially on drums and vocals, these four members played most albums with the classic works. In 2006, the re-formed Blues Tears featured a new line-up in the album while vocalist Gregg Fulkerson was the only constant member of the band. The band was founded by Gregg Fulkerson, Mike Spears and Bryan Hall in 1982 in Henderson, Tennessee, and finally Charlie Lauderdale joined the band on drums. But the band name "Blue Tears" was finally determined just two months prior to releasing their debut. As we know, Blue Tears now is a name of the past, so their two studio albums and two compilation releases are very precious. To enjoy the terrific hard rock and aor gems, the songs from Blue Tears are the musts, especially those taken from their 1990 debut and the two compilation albums. During the band's active years, Blue Tears was dismissed as another glam metal act in that genres fading wave, which was the unfortunate happening to the band faced with grunge. Here the song "She's Not Falling In Love" is rarely mentioned among Blue Tears works. It was not released after recording, but many years later, it was included in a compilation album "Dancin' On The Back Streets", released in 2005. Musically, the songs from their compilation albums absolutely feature the late 1980s and early 1990s taste like those from their debut. In 1991, when they decided to record the second album as they had made full preparation for the new songs, it was a pity that the label MCA Records finally quit doing that due to the popularity of the grunge genre and MTV's revamp. Therefore, those unreleased songs were delayed. The two compilation albums "Mad, Bad & Dangerous" and "Dancin' On The Back Streets" include all those past unreleased gems from Blue Tears, both released by Suncity Records. Since there was some sort of cult following of the band in the early 2000s, Gregg Fulkerson decided to release those hidden songs on the compilations, making Blue Tears heard by fans again. Everybody can find your favourite songs of Blue Tears as each album can include your cups of tea. Perfectly combined hard rock with aor and featuring the splendid harmonics on both the rocking tunes and the soulful ballads, the songs from Blue Tears are filled with the greatest charms, satisfiying every delicate ear to review over and over again without getting bored. Since Gregg Fulkerson passed away in 2009, Blue Tears was put to rest as a name of the past today. The band's lastest album "The Innocent Ones" was released in 2006 by AOR Heaven, recorded by the re-formed Blue Tears. Before that in 2002, Fulkerson and Spears were involved in another hard rock project "Attraction 65". For the loyal fans of melodic rock, Blue Tears is an everlasting icon, always be remembered. #HardRock #MelodicRock #BlueTears #GreggFulkerson
