‪@Moscow-Russia‬ A Christmas forest has sprung up along the aisles of the Main Department Store. This project, which has already become a long-standing tradition, annually brings together GUM's friends and partners to create custom-made Christmas trees—creative, stylish, and absolutely unique. This year's exhibition features 81 New Year's trees, each the result of inspiration, bold ideas, and genuine spirit. Over the years of the "New Year's Trees at GUM on Red Square" project, the outfits on the "green beauties" have never been the same. Trees in the form of bouquets, culinary masterpieces, engineering installations with trains and cars, fashion trees—there are no limits to imagination. The exhibition transports you to a magical atmosphere and allows you to feel like a child again – after all, it was with the Christmas tree that the story of the New Year's miracle began. A salad of ornaments, a garland of potatoes, and a turnip on top – this is what the first Christmas tree looked like, erected in Alsace in 1605. Much has changed since then, but one thing remains constant: the Christmas tree remains the main symbol of the New Year.
