The doctor, 49, based in Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia, said: "The patient was in a lot of discomfort, they were so happy when I removed it. "It's certainly the first time I have ever seen this and I hope I never have to do this again." The shocked surgeon couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the tick inside the patient's ear during the removal and he carefully grabbed the wriggly insect and pulled it slowly out. He added: "It could have been very dangerous.".
