Context: You've woken late, having stayed up the previous night in a scramble to meet your deadlines. Roused by the delicious smells of bacon, you blearily stumble towards the kitchen where your boyfriend is happily humming away. Written by VoG_Persona (Who is dat?) Hi, Hullo! Welcome back to Sweet Sunday! I wanted to write this piece as sort of an ode to my own love of cooking. Some of you may know that I used to work as a professional chef. I've been in a variety of restaurants, ranging from fine-dining to small bakeries. Like the character, I fell out of love with cooking for many years because of the stress that the working kitchen places on an individual.
