These highlights capture tow-in big wave surfing at Praia de Itacoatiara — a spot often compared to Brazil’s notorious Shock slab for its raw power and heavy consequences. From steep takeoffs to mutant barrels, the warmups showed why Itacoatiara is one of the heaviest slab surfing destinations on the planet.
