Tenesmus is a word used to describe the feeling of incomplete evacuation after passing motion. Some of the people have that irritation inside and then will be feeling that they have still not totally emptied and feel like passing motion again and again and most illiterate is associated with some sort of crampy pain and irritation the especially in elderly patient. The causes for Tenesmus are there is some irritation inside the anal canal caused by either some ulcers, infections, tumors, cancers, prolapse so any of these things or some infection pus around the rectal valve all this can cause irritation and the treatment for that is treat the cause for it, sometimes psychological we have to treat and symptomatically with pain killers.
