As the trial against Quinton Nixon continued on Tuesday morning, the state called Police Sergeant Lewis Brooks to the stand to present multiple shocking 911 calls from terrified neighbors. The calls were allegedly about Nixon walking around outside, waving a gun, and firing it. Neighbors continuously asked the 911 operators to bring the police out as they were concerned for their safety. Westover was found dead inside a Kenmore home in July 2022. Police searched for Nixon after receiving several tips about his whereabouts and eventually found him hiding inside a University Park attic. Nixon was charged with murder and will represent himself during the trial.
