Here is a simple and authentic Rajasthani Daal Baati recipe in easy steps: --- 🌾 DAAL BAATI RECIPE ⭐ Ingredients For Baati: Wheat flour (gehun ka atta) – 2 cups Semolina (sooji) – ¼ cup Ghee – 4 tbsp Salt – ½ tsp Ajwain – ½ tsp (optional) Warm water – as needed For Daal (Panchmel Dal): Toor dal – ¼ cup Moong dal (yellow) – ¼ cup Chana dal – 2 tbsp Urad dal – 1 tbsp Masoor dal – 1 tbsp Turmeric – ½ tsp Salt – to taste For Tadka: Ghee – 2 tbsp Jeera – 1 tsp Hing – 1 pinch Garlic crushed – 6–7 cloves (optional) Ginger – 1 tsp Green chilli – 1 Red chilli powder – 1 tsp Coriander powder – 1 tsp Garam masala – ¼ tsp --- 🫓 How to Make Baati 1. In a bowl, mix atta + sooji + salt + ajwain + ghee. 2. Rub the ghee into flour till it becomes moyan wali crumbled mixture. 3. Add warm water and knead a tight dough. 4. Rest for 10–15 minutes. 5. Make medium round balls (baati). 6. Bake in OTG/tandoor at 180°C for 25–30 minutes, turning in between. If making on gas: Cook on low flame in appe pan or directly on tawa until golden & crisp. 7. Once cooked, press baati slightly and dip in hot ghee. --- 🍲 How to Make Dal 1. Wash all dals and pressure cook with turmeric + salt + water for 3–4 whistles. 2. Whisk lightly after cooking. 3. Prepare tadka: Heat ghee → add jeera → hing → ginger → green chilli → spices. 4. Pour tadka into dal and mix. 5.
