Paint a whimsical watercolor elephant with me!!! I'm really kinda in love with this little whimsical elephant. We'll learn an easy way to break down his shape to make the drawing part easy. We'll use a couple different watercolor techniques. We'll learn how to lift watercolor back off, and we'll finish it off with some fun and whimsical embellishments. Paper: I usually use Strathmore 400 acrylic paper, but for watercolor, any watercolor paper (140 lb. or heavier) will work. Pens: Love Sharpies, but generally any waterfast pen will work (Sakura Pigma Micron pens are excellent and don't smear with water) Watercolor: My most used sets are Josie Lewis and Art Philosophy Co. Watercolor Confections sets https://www.josielewis.com/wcshop https://www.artphilosophy.com/ Tape: I prefer Washi tape 1" wide - generally available at any art/craft store, but you an use painter's tape as well. In this video I used Scotch Wall Tape.
