Big Bend National Park in the summer really poses challenges for the overlanders. The temperature routinely peaks above 110F and water is scarce, especially on the Southern portion of the park. Weather there changed so quickly and abruptly. When we were driving from San Antonio, TX to Marathon, TX we drove through a severe thunderstorm and saw with our eyes the lightnings sparked a tip of the mountain initiated a wide spread wild fire. that incident made us more conscious of what bad weather could mean for us Overlanders isolated in the wild. **Problem with the gas tank pressure has been identified and solved. The air breather kit for the charcoal canister from Long Range America was clogged, I presume it is the repercussion from having my LC stuck in water in NJ. After cleaning the breather lines and the air filter attached to the end, there is no more hissing sound nor abnormal pressure build up in the fuel system. #BigBendNationalPark #Riverroad #Longrangeamerica #auxillarygastank #LC200 #LC200ER #LandCruiser
