It was made by a little independent company there in the college town that was always using student actors from the drama department. I went over there to audition, and the man says, God, you're perfect! You're Mr.American Pie, here. And so I did it. It took me like two or three weeks to shoot. I'd shoot in the afternoons or around my classes, and I did the whole film for $200. But I didn't know. Two hundred dollars at the time for doing something like that, I thought Jesus Christ, I'm going to be rich if this keeps up' This 16mm film was transferred by Movette in San Francisco, with assistance from Daniel Kremer.
