Suzanne Zupec grew up in her family’s Illinois construction business, where pride and tradition ran deep. “Whether you swept the shop floor or answered the phone, our whole family was involved.” When she became president of Campanella & Sons, there was no playbook — just the "School of Hard Knocks" and a lingering mindset: "We’ve always done it that way."
