Endodiathermie-assistierte Iridoplastik nach Iriszysten-Resektion Gezeigt wird die Blockexzision einer großen Iriszyste bei einem 11-jährigen Mädchen sowie die anschließende Irisrekonstruktion mit Endodiathermie-assistierter Iridoplastik. Als Standardtechnik zur Irisrekonstruktion peripherer Defekte gelten verschiedene Nahttechniken, z.B. die Irisbasis-Refixation mit U-Naht sowie die McCannel- oder Engels-Naht. Die Naht-gestützte Iridoplastik hat aber den Nachteil, dass sie verkürzend wirkt, also eine relevante Pupillenverziehung aufweist. Im Vergleich dazu ist die Endodiathermie-gestützte Iridoplastik deutlich schonender und zeigt weniger Pupillenverziehung. Various suture techniques are considered standard for iris reconstruction of peripheral defects, e.g. iris base refixation with U-suture and McCannel or Engels suture. However, suture-assisted iridoplasty has the disadvantage that it has a shortening effect, i.e. a relevant pupil distortion. In comparison, endodiathermy-assisted iridoplasty is much gentler and shows less pupil distortion.
