The sight of the falls is prominent due to its location, and how can one miss the gushing sound of the falls that crashes into boulders before feeding into the Teesta river? Although the falls can be seen through the seasons, the volume of water increases during the monsoons and it cascades in three tiers.   This beautiful tea garden is capable to amuse the visitors by its magnificent scenery around. There is also a view point at Teesta from where one can get the mesmerizing views. One could easily be fascinated by the panoramic sight of the hills, mountains, forests and enchanting river Teesta in its serpentine form. The Teesta River with its beautiful trail is natures splendor.. One of the best places to see Teesta meeting Rangeet and surrounded by lush forest is the Peshoke View Point. The story of Teesta begins 23,386 ft above the sea-level at the Pahunri glacier nestled between the Tibet and India border Tea Gardens on the both sides of the road ,scent of tea leaves in the air, the greenery, those are just like green covers, this garden is a delight to the eye and solace for the soul.  Now let me share you our complete itinerary with cost and stay details so that you can also travel safely in this pandemic situations and if you are planning to visit this place it will definitely help you.  We have started from Kolkata, we travelled through Darjeeling Mail from Sealdah station and reached NJP around 8 am next day Morning After freshen up we starts our journey towards Kalimpong, we book cab from Taxi stand and it costs us approx.. 2200.00 The distance from NJP to Kalimpong arrrox 67 Kms and it’s took us almost 3 hrs to reach Kalimpong. Our first stay was with Mystic Orchid Retreat for 2 days, Tariff was Rs. 1500/- inclusive of Taxes and complimentary breakfast http://www.themystichotels.com/ Kalimpong  sightseeing  (Lava, Kolkham, Rishop) really costs us approx.. 4000/-  , the own car from hotel was the best option though Last we we spent in Morgan House, we can book it from WBTDC website: https://www.wbtdcl.com/home/lodge_sea... Last day we returned from Kalimpong to NJP enroutes visit some tea gardens., Cab Fare 4000/- Train from NJP to Kolkata Please keep in mind that you have to carry your double dose vaccination certificate otherwise RT-PCR Covid Neative report to enter the state. If we are planning to travel through train then you  need to carry bedsheet as bed linen are not be providing, and carry  wipers to clean seat as well , sanitizers, paper soup. While you are sightseeing the places like Changey falls or Koakham please carry some dry foods, water bottles.
