SUMMARY On today’s podcast we have Melissa Roberts. Melissa is a journalist covering China for Time Magazine during the years of the Tiananmen Square uprising, has worked as a staff correspondent for The Australian, reported on federal politics from the Press Gallery, and has covered Singapore and Australia for Newsweek Magazine. She is the co-editor of the books, ‘The Beijing Bureau’ and her most recent book, ‘Through Her Eyes: Australia’s Women Correspondents from Hiroshima to Ukraine. What I personally love about this conversation is Melissa’s authentic passion surrounding the transformation and somewhat liberation of women in media. Melissa speaks to women taking their rightful place in the male-dominated industry; a true advocate for women and diversity in media. In this episode we explore the idea that, ‘when you only hear from men, you only hear half the story’. Please enjoy this conversation with Melissa. #jennahlouise #tobehumanpodcast
