So, for this TLoZ longplay, I would like to get a 100%. Why? I don't know, maybe I just wanted to see everything the game has to offer, like in Majora's Mask. I would like to thank the brazilian YouTuber The Legend of Rogerz for making an instructional, very organized gameplay 100% of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and other Zelda games, such as my favorites Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess. In fact, it is because of him that I learned everything that's needed to complete Majora's Mask and with that I'm now able to finish that game following my own created route. Unfortunately, I could not say the same for Ocarina of Time, as everytime I ever tried to finish this game, even watching his tutorial, something happened to prevent me from. Either I had a problem with saves, or somehow I got softlocked. For example: After a long night playing this for 4 hours straight when I was a kid, I decided to stop and go get some sleep. When I woke up, someone had turned the Nintendo off. I boosted the game, and my save was lost because I didn't save before going to sleep. Something similar happened on PC a few months ago. I lost the save, and considered a few possibilities, like editing the save file in an attempt to fix things. But the bigger problem was the skulltulas and heart pieces. I couldn't know for sure what flags to mark on the editor program (you have to mark on each area of the game that contains skulltulas/heart pieces for it to know where you have and have not get.) so any configuration would end up screwing up more things in the future. Plus, I was about to enter the best part of the game before losing everything. Regrettable... but trying to play OOT again after some years truly rekindled my passion for the game, that was my first contact with ZELDA franchise after all! So, after a few months, gathering all my accumulated love and respect for the game throughout my life and somewhat reluctantly... I decided to give one more try, and that's it, that's this gameplay. It's an understatement that I'm extremely happy that it finally worked out – not only making it 100% but playing the game from start to the end at all – as this was definitely going to be my last attempt for a very long time.
