I thought I'd start off with this one as this was the first ever Bruce bootleg I got. Pretty standard set for the European River Tour, with the exception of Factory. The British tour of '81 is usually known for having very hoarse and sometimes genuinely awful vocals from Bruce but tonight, after a break from Stafford, he actually sings really damn well. I would go far as to say this is the best vocal performance of the British tour. Tomorrow night, though... Well, enough said. Some really stellar performances here. Racing in the Street is beautiful, although it didn't need to come before Backstreets. I honestly don't even know why Backstreets is in the set so close to Racing but that may be why the night after sounded as atrocious as it did. The Detroit Medley is where his voice does start to slip away. Personally, I think this concert is very good, if not for the cuts at intermittent intervals.
