Zakk Wylde performs Black Label Society classic 'The Day That Heaven Had Gone Away' live in session for Planet Rock at Jimi Hendrix's Flat, 23 Brook Street, London. Recorded in the Hendrix Flat at Handel & Hendrix in London, where Jimi Hendrix lived from 1968 - 1969, the session saw Ozzy and BLS legend Zakk Wylde perform stripped-back acoustic versions of three songs from Black Label Society's greatest hits album 'Grimmest Hits': 'Room of Nightmares', 'The Day Heaven Had Gone Away' and 'Nothing Left to Say'. The location was particularly special to Zakk, who said: "Aside from being a huge Hendrix fan and naming one of our sons after him, I’m also a huge history fan. Performing a couple of songs in his flat was a surreal honour - just knowing his energy, greatness and presence graced that room is something I’ll never forget.
