At times, we can feel that we can not stop the thoughts from coming. Learning how to concentrate in meditation allows the thoughts in our mind to settle down, just like the snowflakes in a snow globe when we let it rest on a table. But it is not easy at first because our mind isn't used to settle. In this week's video, I share 5 ways to develop concentration. The first benefit of concentration is that we can regroup our attention instead of being pulled in all directions by our mind. So in times of stress and anxiety, we can feel solid and grounded. This is the foundation for emotional resilience. We can calm our thoughts and emotions. And then, when we have concentration, we have clarity. Clarity about our experience. And from there, we can gain insights about the causes of our suffering and find a way out. Developing concentration is essential to find the path to freedom and inner peace.
