Marc Stein reported that Simmons rejected a contract offer from the New York Knicks. Stefan Bondy followed up with a report that Simmons’ agent, Bernie Lee, dropped Ben Simmons as a client. NBC Sports’ Monte Poole reported that Jonathan Kuminga is likely going to sign the qualifying offer with the Golden State Warriors. Kuminga is a restricted free agent, and the qualifying offer would make him an unrestricted free agent in 2026 NBA Free Agency. Josh Giddey signed a 4-year, $100 MM contract with the Chicago Bulls.
