There is no way I’ll be writing you a recipe in grams for this one! Here is all you need to know to get a great sandwich: How to make caramelized onions: • Caramelized Onions Plan on 1 medium onion per person. Keep in mind that caramelized onions don’t work in small batches, so even if you only want to make 1 sandwich, the smallest number of onions I’d caramelize is 4, which is roughly 2 Lb. 1 honeycrisp apple will be enough for 4-6 sandwiches For nuts, I like pecans and walnuts the best, but you can use any nuts in any amount that suits you. For cheese, I use Cabot “Seriously Sharp” cheddar. It’s aged 14+ months.
