Caught the rerouted UP Intermodal ZBRLC double stack freight train passing the Sacramento Northern Bike Trail path pedestrian railroad crossing on the UP Sacramento Subdivision at 11:41AM. This train is the counterpart of the ZLCBR and the ZBRLC train normally takes the UP Valley Sub, Martinez Sub and then the UP Fresno Sub but due to the track construction on the Fresno Sub the trains are still being rerouted on the Sac Sub. Later I caught this train in a siding meeting the UP ZLCBR and a BNSF train. They change some things at this crossing on how it functions. The gates drop immediately when the crossing activates and the gate lights now just flash together instead of flashing back and forth on the gate near me. More Info Below.
