Meenan Transmissions dot com or Call 215 eight five five five one two three This video is of a 2003 Volkswagen EuroVan transmission. This transmission is designated as an 01 p. This transmission came in and was allegedly rebuilt recently and the prior customer had spent $4500.00 The customer who brought the van to us had purchased this EuroVan and was told that the transmission was rebuilt 9 months ago. This transmission had no reverse operation when it arrived . Upon disassembly it was evident that this transmission had been taken apart, however it was not properly rebuilt. This video highlights some of the things that we found with the rebuild that made it very clear that the shop that did the rebuild should consider another line of work. At Meenan Transmissions we regularly up load videos of the transmission disassembled to highlight the cause of failure and allow the consumer to see what we see.
