This video is a full-on resin pivot story 😅 I started this project planning to make a druzy-edged tray with a UV DTF quote about dragonflies and feathers, complete with feather and paper dragonfly inclusions. I had a whole vision. And then… chaos. The UV DTF sticker (cheap and possibly ancient) completely fell apart, forcing me to scrape it off and pivot mid-project. That was Save #1 — switching to a butterfly sticker and ditching inclusions altogether. Then came Save #2: I tried to speed up curing using my curing machine and accidentally melted the sticker, causing it to curl. At that point, my only option was another resin coat to try to bury the curled edges and keep moving forward. Was this what I planned? Absolutely not. Did it turn into something pretty anyway? I think so. This video is a real-time look at adapting, problem-solving, and pushing through when resin projects go completely sideways. 🎨 Project type: druzy resin trinket tray 🎨 Colors: pink, purple & teal 🛠️ Skill level: learning in real time (with pivots!) 👇 I’d LOVE your opinion: was this a good save, or would you have pivoted differently? 🧰 Materials Used (no affiliations) • Let’s Resin casting resin • Let’s Resin alcohol inks • Pixyss alcohol inks • Druzy Geode Trinket Dish (M) – Molds and Shapes • UV DTF sticker • Silicone mixing tools & cups
