In this special Urban Innovation Lightning Talk event, the Mansueto Institute’s new Postdoctoral Fellows will share their ongoing research on topics at the intersection of cities and economics, sociology, and policy, in a short-form presentation, followed by questions and answers. Learn more about our new fellows: Robert French, Postdoctoral Fellow, Mansueto Institute for Urban Innovation and the Harris School of Public Policy Robert graduated with a Ph.D. in Public Policy from Harvard University and received a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Toronto. April l. graham-Jackson, Institute, and Department of Sociology Postdoctoral Fellow and Postdoctoral Research Affiliate with Chicago Studies; the Committee on Environment, Geography, and Urbanization (CEGU); and the Urban Theory Lab April holds a PhD in Geography from the University of California, Berkeley, and graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Mount Holyoke College as the first person with a bachelor’s degree in Black Geographies. Guangbin Hong, Institute and Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics Postdoctoral Fellow Guangbin completed his Ph.D. in economics at the University of Toronto, his master’s in economics at Tufts University, and his bachelor’s in management at Tianjin University.
