Students Jay Martin, Leon Musson and Olly Munro have each taken a unique path which has led them to volunteer at Tyneside Boxing Club in Wallsend. Jay (Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology), Leon (Sports Exercise & Nutrition) and Olly's (Economics and Finance) volunteering has made a huge difference to the fortunes of the club and has provided welcome support to head coach Ross Wilkinson. Not only are Tyneside Boxing Club benefitting, but the students themselves are able to use the knowledge from their degrees in practical, real-life situations as they gain invaluable experience.
