Minelab Equinox comparing the ML 6" coil vs the Coiltek 10x5" coil on #9 lead bird shot.

The point of this video isn't really to show depth and sensitivity comparisons, but more to show the hot locations on the coils, both are very similar in depth in my opinion on the same size tiny targets, the 6" coil's deepest spot is in the center of the coil on tiny gold where as the Coiltek it's the tip and toe. I haven't bothered testing depth on coins so much, as I primarily use it for gold prospecting and my focus is on small gold detection although they both seem similar on depth to larger targets with the edge going to the Coiltek. The Coiltek looks like it'll be a decent prospecting coil with that hot tip to poke around in rocky creeks with the sensitivity at the tip although it's slightly worse in high EMI environments like where this video was filmed near some high voltage power-lines.
