Filmed on 28.10.2019. This is showing all the classes of cabins onboard this magnificent and beautiful Finnish- built cruise ship M/S Celestyal Crystal (ex- Silja Opera and Sally Albatross) that still hasn't been renovated badly, and this was at the arrival back in Pireaus, Athens, Greece, when all the cabin doors were opened for cleaning, so I was able to not only see the inside and outside cabins (regular ones) but also the suites (especially the royal and presidential suites) onboard, in this video. I of course also took pictures. The then- president of the U.S. had stayed onboard this cruise ship back in 1995, in the presidential suite. Congratulations to my home country, Finland on the 102nd Independence day on 6th December (1917-2019). I am celebrating this by sharing the videos from the 1991-92 rebuilt cruise ship that sould have still been on the Baltic Sea today! You can watch them all on a separate playlist. This was on a cruise from Pireaus, Athens to Istanbul and the Greek Islands and back, onboard the Celestyal Crystal (ex- Silja Opera and Sally Albatross, built in 1980 / 1991 - March 1992). All the videos as well as from Athens, Heraklion and Istanbul will be published later. All the elevators onboard this magnificent historic Finnish- built cruise ship are still original (Apart from a few changes on the scenic elevators) even though it has been already 13 years (in 2019) since she left the Baltic Sea! The ship has a very special history - originally it was built as a car ferry, the Viking Saga for Viking Line, but 10 years after, in January 1990, she had a fire while on dock in Finnboda, Nacka, and had to be completelr rebuilt (except the lowest deck could be savd and the engines), then completed in March 1992 in Rauma, Finland. It hit ground outside of Porkala in Finland in March 1994 and had to be repaired after that. And the rest of operation is history - she has sailed on the Mediterranean, Caribbean Cruises as well as Asian and Cuban before ending up on the Greek Aegean cruises as she is at the moment.
