As Tame Impala have evolved from psychedelic explorers into more eclectic terrain, Kevin Parker has become one of music's most influential artists. The multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, mixer, and engineer debuted with 2010's Innerspeaker, a huge guitar rock album dipped in psychedelia. Parker folded hip-hop into 2015's Currents, home to the single “The Less I Know the Better,” which racked up billions of streams and numerous gold and platinum certifications, and embraced disco on 2020's international chart-topper The Slow Rush. Tame Impala's musical growth was mirrored by the project's lengthy list of accolades, including a BRIT Award and many ARIA Awards in Parker's Australian homeland. He parlayed this success into writing and producing for Dua Lipa, the Weeknd, SZA, and more. The legendary Diana Ross joined Parker for the 2022 single "Turn Up the Sunshine" and Justice collaborated with him on 2024's Grammy-winning "Neverender." In 2025, he returned with Deadbeat.
