Double Barrel Tapped Single Coil Demo

The Double Barrel tapped single coil pickup is meant for the Bridge position in Stratocasters for players who want to have the ultimate in versatility without the hassle of active electronics. The Double Barrel offers two tonal options: Vintage Tap, and Full Power. The white lead wire is Vintage Tap, and the yellow lead wire is Full Power. Black is ground, same as always. The Vintage Tap is approximately 6.0k, and wound with 42 AWG poly coated wire. The rest of the coil is wound with 43 AWG poly coated wire to a total DCR of approximately 13.8k. Extra tall AlNiCo 5 rod magnets for all the clarity and power you'd want from a Strat pickup. I hand bevel and polish every rod magnet individually to give the Double Barrel a truly classic look. The Double Barrel utilizes a flat stagger, each magnet being the same height. The magnets are wrapped in a layer of black cloth electrical tape before winding and after potting for maximum protection. All magnets are superglued into the flatwork as I do with all of my pickups for lifelong durability. Potting formula is a mixture of paraffin and beeswax.
