Return to Mission – Jonah 3:1-10, February 8, 2026

“Failure is not an option;” however, for many of us it is a reality. There are areas of our lives we wish we could do over. In chapter three Jonah gets a do-over. God calls him again, not to a different task, but to the same one in which he failed earlier. Jonah had returned to God in the belly of a fish, and now it is time for Jonah to return to mission. This passage shows us for the sake of the gospel, God offers new life and new mission. Specifically for Jonah, this mission was to warn the Ninevites of impending doom.
